Sizing
As a general rule you will wear your pre-pregnancy size in maternity clothes. However, since each designer can vary please be sure to read the full product description, which will indicate if items tend to run large or small. Also, please feel free to email us at info@xpectingmaternity.com or call us at 888.973.2864 with any specific sizing questions.
Availability
We update our website daily so that the sizes and colors you see are available. Occasionally you may place an order for an item that has sold on the same day. If you order an item that is sold out or on backorder we will notify you via email upon receipt of your order. In this case we are happy to suggest an alternative or credit your account.
Phone Orders
When calling customer service you are directed to our California based retail store. We often have items for sale in our store that are not available online. Please feel free to call us Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST to inquire about additional styles or to place an order.
Shipping
Xpecting will mail your order within 24 hours of receipt. We cannot ship on weekends or holidays, therefore orders placed after 2 p.m. PST on Friday and/or the day prior to a holiday will ship the next business day.
We ship UPS Ground, however, upon checkout you do have the option to expedite the order for an additional charge.
International Shipping
We do our best to get international shipments out within 24 hours, however, there may be a delay as additional clearance is sometimes necessary.
Please understand that often times a country will impose additional customs costs on top of shipping quoted upon checkout. Xpecting is not responsible for these costs. If a delivery arrives and is refused you will still be responsible for shipping costs incurred.
Tracking an Order
As soon as we mail your order we will email you a UPS tracking number for your package. You can track your item at http://www.ups.com.
Returns and Exchanges
It is important to us that you are happy with your new purchase. We accept returns for unworn, undamaged merchandise that has the tags attached. Items must be postmarked no more than 21 days past the date the merchandise was shipped to you. Upon receipt we will credit your credit card less the shipping charges.
Exceptions include sale items, which can be exchanged for store credit only within 21 days of the ship date. In this instance, upon receipt of the returned sale item we will email you a code to enter the next time you check out. Underwear and swimsuit sales are final.
We are not responsible for items past the 21 day policy. Xpecting is not liable for damages that occur during washing, dry cleaning or wear. We are not responsible for loss or damages that occur during the return shipping process and recommend insuring these items.
Sales Tax
7.75% sales tax applies to California customers.
Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates for online shopping are available online. Once ordered, a code will be emailed to the recipient so that the Gift Certificate can be redeemed at checkout.
If you would like to purchase a Gift Certificate for someone who will be shopping in our California store, please call Customer Service at 888.973.2864 and we will be happy to mail an in-store Gift Certificate to the recipient.
